Systems Engineer III - North Carolina

Job Summary

Leading enterprise-wide patch management initiatives, the full-time remote Systems Engineer III - North Carolina will develop strategies, evaluate vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize and secure enterprise endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Creating and implementing comprehensive patch management strategies for Windows OS endpoints
• Assessing vulnerabilities and ensuring compatibility of patches with existing systems and applications
• Planning and executing the rollout of patches while monitoring for successful completion

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in systems engineering or programming, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• 7+ years of experience in workstation patch management and vulnerability remediation using tools like MECM, BigFix, and Qualys
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems and patch deployment troubleshooting skills
• Advanced proficiency in BigFix for endpoint management and compliance reporting
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and system management
