Systems Engineer III - North Carolina
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Systems Engineer III - North Carolina, this full-time remote position will build, administer, and optimize enterprise OpenShift container platforms while ensuring platform security and supporting application teams deploying cloud-native workloads.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters, including lifecycle management and troubleshooting
- Administer Kubernetes workloads on OpenShift clusters, managing deployments, services, and monitoring containerized applications
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, automating administrative tasks and supporting CI/CD platform integrations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in cloud engineering, or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience
- 5+ years of systems engineering or infrastructure administration experience
- 3+ years of hands-on OpenShift and Kubernetes administration experience
- Strong background in Linux system administration
- Experience supporting production container platforms in enterprise environments
