Job Summary
A company is looking for a Systems Engineer - Open Source Lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain server infrastructure, including Linux servers and databases, using configuration management tools
- Collaborate with the Open Source community and hosted partners to assess needs and provide system support
- Review and improve code quality through automated testing and collaboration with fellow students
Required Qualifications
- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university
- Basic experience using Linux on the command line and understanding of operating systems
- Experience with git and GitHub or GitLab workflows
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds for racking servers
