Systems Engineer - Software Applications

Job Summary

To support the design and integration of command-and-control software applications for complex robotic systems, the hybrid Systems Engineer - Software Applications will collaborate with stakeholders, develop requirements, and ensure seamless software and hardware integration on a long-term contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze product goals and translate them into detailed system requirements
• Support subsystem-level software application development and validate integrations in Windows-based environments
• Document requirements and design decisions, ensuring traceability and compliance with standards throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3-7+ years of experience in systems engineering, application development, or system integration
• Proven experience in writing and managing functional and non-functional requirements
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC standards and functional safety practices
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and experience with integration testing and validation frameworks
