Job Summary

Systems Engineer (VA Licensed), this full-time position involves providing expert design and construction engineering support for large-scale VA Medical Center infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with VHA standards and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide design and construction engineering support for large-scale VA Medical Center infrastructure projects
• Apply project management techniques to ensure deliverables meet VHA standards and VA Design Requirements
• Coordinate risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in healthcare facility design and construction, or 8 years of specialized experience in lieu of a degree
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university required; advanced degree is a plus
• Prior experience with VA, DoD, or federal agency healthcare facility construction programs preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential
• Demonstrated expertise in construction management and healthcare facility management, including MEP systems design
