Systems Engineer with Human Factors

Job Summary

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the Systems Engineer with Human Factors will manage systems engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, system architecture, and human factors assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Define, execute, and document engineering findings while driving closure of action items
• Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation, ensuring compliance with certification standards
• Perform requirements management using tools like Polarion or IBM DOORS and support Human Factors Assessments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Experience in Systems Engineering and knowledge of system certification processes
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as Polarion or IBM DOORS
• Experience performing Human Factors Assessments per AMC 29.1302
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with complex engineering programs
