Systems Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support ambitious renewable energy targets in Europe, the full-time remote Systems Engineering Manager will plan, supervise, and coordinate all systems engineering technical tasks related to HVDC converter stations, ensuring effective communication and quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth requirements analysis to support project needs and translate stakeholder technical needs into verifiable system requirements
• Develop and manage Verification & Validation Plans and Reports while collaborating with stakeholders to coordinate activities across all project phases
• Supervise and manage systems engineering tasks to achieve project objectives, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, or a similar field
• Extensive professional experience in Systems Engineering, particularly in Requirements Management, Verification, and Validation activities
• Experience in the HVDC Power Transmission industry or a similar field
• Proficiency with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
• Able to work in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team environment and willing to travel approximately 10% of the working time
