Systems Engineering Specialist

Job Summary

To support advanced nuclear energy projects, the remote contract Systems and Requirements Management Engineer will develop and maintain systems engineering procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on requirements management, and advocate for process improvements across engineering activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems engineering procedures, plans, and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to manage, trace, and validate requirements
• Support the implementation of systems engineering methodologies and facilitate process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering or requirements management
• Experience with configuration management principles in engineering processes
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Experience working under quality programs like ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
