Systems Engineering Specialist

Job Summary

To support advanced nuclear energy projects, the remote contract Systems and Requirements Management Engineer will develop and maintain engineering procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on requirements management, and advocate for process improvements across complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems engineering procedures, plans, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to manage, trace, and validate requirements for systems and components
• Support the implementation of systems engineering methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering or requirements management
• Experience with configuration management principles and process improvement methodologies
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Experience working under quality programs such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
