Systems Generalist

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Systems Generalist for a full-time hybrid position, who will design and operate APIs and control-plane services for automated inference optimization, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate durable APIs and control-plane services for multi-hour or multi-day optimization campaigns
• Develop secure partner-side runner and grader software for compiling, executing, and benchmarking candidate artifacts on third-party hardware
• Integrate hardware profiles and inference-serving engines into a repeatable optimization workflow

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in distributed systems or cloud services
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Go, or Rust
• Experience designing and operating highly available backend systems and durable workflows
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux, networking, and modern cloud architectures
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives as a senior individual contributor
