Systems Operator

Job Summary

Providing operational support for a 7x24 command center, the full-time Systems Operator will monitor systems, networks, and applications during the third shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Eastern Time, ensuring availability and resolving issues as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support the resolution of problems in the enterprise data center, escalating issues as required
• Provide service desk support and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Utilize knowledge of SFTP file transfers, batch scheduling, and UNIX/Windows operating systems to assist in operations

Required qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in computer science or related field preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology operations
• Familiarity with automated job scheduling and multi-processing environments
• Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems
• Ability to support a 7x24 on-call rotation
