Systems Programmer II

Job Summary

Supporting the AHEC Learning Portal and associated systems, the full-time remote Systems Programmer II will design, develop, and maintain custom applications, ensuring they meet user needs and organizational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, develop, test, and implement the AHEC Learning Portal, ensuring timely deployment of features and updates
• Maintain the custom Moodle instance and ensure smooth integration with the AHEC Learning Portal while adhering to industry standards
• Administer SC AHEC servers and maintain system integrations necessary for AHEC applications to function effectively

Required qualifications

• A high school diploma and three years of relevant work experience, or an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience with full-stack web application development, particularly in .NET environments
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET, Visual Basic, and PHP
• Familiarity with version/source control, particularly Git
• Experience supporting or customizing a Moodle instance or other learning management systems
