Systems Programmer (Mainframe/Db2)
Job Summary
To support critical business applications, the remote Systems Programmer (Mainframe/Db2) will manage the installation, maintenance, and optimization of IBM Db2 for z/OS on the mainframe platform while providing 24x7 production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and optimization of IBM Db2 for z/OS on the mainframe platform
- Support critical business applications and enterprise database environments
- Provide Db2 subsystem administration, performance tuning, upgrades, and migrations
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of systems programming experience
- Experience with Mainframe System technologies, including Db2, z/OS, and Broadcom products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance
- Solid understanding of quality assurance and implementation strategies of systems software
