Systems Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the Perforce platform, the full-time Expert Systems Reliability Engineer will ensure its reliability, stability, and performance while representing Activision's interests with external partners and enabling studios across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Perforce platform's reliability, stability, and technical direction, ensuring high availability and minimal studio impact during upgrades
• Act as the primary authority on Perforce for Central Tech and game studios, promoting best practices and enabling self-service solutions
• Maintain technical relationships with Perforce Software and Microsoft/Xbox, influencing roadmaps and representing Activision's platform strategy

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience operating SCM platforms at scale
• Deep experience as an SRE or Senior Systems Engineer with full platform ownership
• Strong Linux systems background, including storage, compute, and networking
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or RunDeck
