Systems Safety Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Systems Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a functioning team member within the Aircraft Integration Team
• Define Systems Safety processes, policies, procedures, and necessary software solutions
• Develop safety analysis artifacts and assess engineering documents for safety compliance

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 5-7 years of dedicated systems safety aerospace experience
• Familiarity with SAE ARP-4761 and ARP-4754 or MIL-STD-882 safety processes
• Direct experience with various safety analyses such as FMECA and Hazard Analysis
• Basic skills in CATIA V5/V6/3DX (or similar); 3DX is preferred
