Systems Safety Engineer

Job Summary

Conducting engineering and technical analyses, the contract Systems Safety Engineer will document findings for safety reports and perform SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engineering analyses and document findings for safety and investigative reports
• Review problem reports to assess safety impact
• Perform SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA analysis in compliance with MIL-STD-882E

Required qualifications

• Experience with SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA analysis
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-882E standards
• Technical background in engineering
• Ability to support customer-facing meetings
• Experience in safety and investigative reporting
