Systems Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing global company, the full-time remote Systems Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure solutions across Windows and Linux environments while leading advanced security engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across diverse platforms
• Manage and optimize firewall infrastructure and Web Application Firewall solutions
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional IT experience with 5+ years in security engineering
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Expert experience with Windows Server and Linux
• Hands-on expertise with Check Point, Cisco, and FortiGate firewalls
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
