Tableau Data Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Tableau Data Architect, this full-time position will design and optimize data architecture for enterprise analytics, focusing on scalable Tableau data models and collaborating with data engineering and business stakeholders to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data governance framework within Tableau Cloud, ensuring data quality and access controls
• Lead the design and governance of semantic data models to support Tableau Next AI features
• Develop optimized Tableau data models and implement performance optimization strategies for dashboards

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data architecture, or analytics engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Tableau
• Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Cloud, including governance and performance tuning
• Deep experience with Tableau data governance and security principles
• Advanced SQL skills, preferably with Amazon Redshift
• Proficiency with the Tableau REST API and Metadata API for governance automation
