Tactile Graphics Artist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tactile Graphics Artist.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and remediate tactile graphics following best practices and guidelines
• Upload and maintain tactile graphics in the Tactile Graphic Image Library (TGIL)
• Evaluate existing graphics for potential enhancement and manage the TGIL graphics request workflow

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field with graphic design experience
• Minimum of five years of experience creating tactile graphics for individuals who are blind or low vision
• Demonstrated understanding of visual and tactual perception differences
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
