Taiwan Impact Associate and Translator
Job Summary
To support community-driven change, the part-time Impact Associate and Translator for Taiwan will review and refine AI-generated translations into Mandarin/Taiwanese, provide first-line support for funding inquiries, and manage due diligence processes, requiring availability during regular business hours in Taiwan.
Key responsibilities
- Proofread and edit AI-generated translations from English to Chinese/Taiwanese for accuracy and tone
- Conduct due diligence calls with applicants for community projects to assess their qualifications for funding
- Manage Chinese/Taiwanese language email support and assist with marketing outreach efforts in Taiwan
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to community-driven change and understanding of social and environmental issues
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese/Taiwanese
- Experience in localizing content from English to Chinese/Taiwanese
- Familiarity with customer support tools such as Intercom, Zoom, and Trello preferred
- Strong research skills and ability to learn quickly
