Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete tax account entries and prepare financial statements monthly
• Assist in the preparation of annual federal and state tax compliance filings and manage indirect taxes
• Collaborate with the accounting department to provide tax-related financial information and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business degree with an Accounting minor required
• Preferred two years of related work experience
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., v-lookup, pivot tables)
• Strong tax research skills and familiarity with ProSystem is a plus
• Knowledge of Internal Revenue Service regulations and multi-state/local tax regulations
