Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Tax Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized troubleshooting, tax advice, and preparation assistance through video-enabled software and chat support
Deliver accurate tax advice in easy-to-understand terms using recommended research materials and team support
Assist customers in gathering, organizing, and entering data for federal and state tax returns

Required Qualifications

Minimum of three seasons of tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns prepared each year
PTIN is required, along with one of the following credentials: EA, CPA, or JD
Prior tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail setting
Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts, and familiarity with form 1040 and all schedules
Willingness to utilize audio/visual tools to communicate with customers
