Tax Compliance Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax & Compliance Manager to oversee U.S. and Canada indirect tax compliance and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. sales and use tax processes, including filings and audits
• Oversee state and local business registrations and compliance requirements
• Prepare regulatory reports and act as a liaison with regulatory agencies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MST preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in tax, focusing on U.S. sales and use tax
• Hands-on experience with Avalara (Avalara AvaTax strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of multi-state tax compliance and nexus rules
• Experience with audit support processes, including 401(k) audits
