Tax Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Managing annual business tax and license renewals, the full-time Tax Renewals & Exemptions Specialist will coordinate tax exemption requests and documentation while supporting client tax compliance activities in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit annual business tax and license renewals while researching state and local jurisdiction requirements
• Manage tax exemption requests, applications, and related renewal documentation
• Track renewal and exemption deadlines, maintaining internal status reporting through completion

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in tax compliance, business licensing, or related administrative support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, and PDF Exchange Editor or Adobe
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple teams
• Experience working with state and local taxing authorities preferred
