Tax Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military OneSource Tax Consultant to provide telephonic tax consultations and assistance with tax filing for military members and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect eligible participants to the electronic tax filing service and assist with completing their tax returns
• Provide help desk support for participant queries and issues with electronic tax filing
• Navigate resources, resolve complex concerns, and document cases according to program guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience as a tax preparer with understanding of military-specific tax issues
• Certification as an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant
• Strong customer service skills and knowledge of call center operations
• U.S. citizen and ability to speak fluent English
