Tax Data Specialist Lead

Job Summary

Supporting the Tax Data Specialist team, the full-time remote Tax Data Specialist Lead will manage queue and escalation processes, provide subject matter expertise, and ensure high-quality tax service support for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workload balancing, case assignment, and provide backup support for team members
• Assist with escalation management and review of high-severity cases while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Provide training and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to quality and production metrics

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of Payroll Tax experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of multistate tax jurisdiction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
