Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Director who will oversee federal, state, and international tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file university tax returns and related filings
• Provide tax advice and updates to university departments
• Conduct tax research and analysis of tax laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Ten years of tax experience in higher education or public accounting with a focus on nonprofits
• Master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a law degree
• CPA license or other professional accounting license and/or membership in a state bar
• Substantial experience in not-for-profit tax return preparation and review
• Technical tax knowledge and excellent research ability
