Tax Equity Capital Director

Job Summary

Leading capital markets activities, the full-time salaried Tax Equity Capital Director will manage the origination, structuring, and execution of tax equity transactions while developing key relationships with investors and overseeing financial modeling efforts, all in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of tax equity transactions with external stakeholders
• Develop and nurture relationships with tax equity investors and identify new sources of tax equity capital
• Oversee the development and execution of Excel financial models to support tax equity transactions and other capital funding activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; master's or MBA preferred
• 6+ years of experience in banking or capital markets, with a strong preference for renewable energy and tax equity experience
• Deep experience in financial modeling and negotiating complex deals, particularly in tax equity transactions
• Strong relationships with tax equity investors and a proven ability to originate new sources of capital
• Experience with debt structuring and/or tax credit origination and placement is preferred, but not required
