Job Summary
Working remotely, the part-time Tax Functional Consultant will facilitate tax-related defect resolution for Prototype 4 and UAT, manage offshore resources, and coordinate customer and testing meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate tax-related defects for Prototype 4 and UAT
- Assign issues to offshore resources and estimate defect closure dates
- Handle customer interactions and coordinate testing meetings with the Avalara Tax team
Required qualifications
- Experience in tax functional consulting or a related field
- Familiarity with defect management and resolution processes
- Ability to coordinate with offshore teams and third-party vendors
- Understanding of UAT processes and tax-related software solutions
- Proven track record in managing customer and testing meetings
