Job Summary
To support the onboarding process for customers using the Toast Payroll platform, the full-time Tax Health Check Specialist will manage customer interactions to collect missing tax registration information, guide clients through state tax account setups, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct customer-facing meetings to review and collect missing tax registration information
- Guide customers through the process of registering for state tax accounts
- Maintain accurate records of customer status and coordinate with internal teams on customer readiness
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing, operations, or administrative role
- Basic familiarity with payroll taxes or a willingness to learn quickly
- Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus
- Experience with state tax agency portals or payroll platforms is a plus
- Highly organized with strong follow-through on tasks
