Tax Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Manager to oversee the Tax Department and manage day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve federal and state tax provisions, returns, and payments prepared by staff
• Ensure financial reporting accuracy and maintain compliance with tax obligations
• Conduct research on tax laws and provide guidance to junior staff while assisting in their development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in tax accounting or related field
• Public accounting experience and CPA license preferred
• Strong technical understanding of corporate and insurance tax laws
• Experience with Oracle, FCCS, and Clearwater technology solutions is a plus
