Tax Preparer

Job Summary

As a critical member of the Regulatory & Tax Compliance Operations team, the full-time Tax Preparer will work remotely to review, prepare, and file tax returns while ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the tax preparation process.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze client tax and revenue data to prepare accurate returns
• Facilitate and process state and local tax filings, ensuring timely payments
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a liaison with applicable agencies during the tax preparation process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (math degree preferred) or equivalent experience in accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
• Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet tax deadlines
