Tax Processing Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Processing Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file over 600 sales and use tax returns monthly for level 1-2 clients
• Communicate with clients to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships
• Collaborate with senior staff to resolve complex issues and support higher-level filings

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate's degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in tax processing, accounting, or business
• Familiarity with standard tax compliance regulations for level 1-2 clients
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools; experience with VITR software is a plus
• Willingness to receive mentoring and support peers
