Tax Product Manager

Job Summary

Owning the tax product lifecycle, the remote Tax Product Manager will manage IRS reporting, vendor relationships, and compliance processes to ensure accurate and timely tax obligations for a rapidly scaling self-clearing broker-dealer.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the product roadmap for IRS reporting and state-level requirements, ensuring on-time and accurate filings
• Manage relationships with tax technology vendors and monitor their performance
• Build and track a cross-functional calendar for tax season, ensuring all critical deadlines are met

Required qualifications

• Deep working knowledge of US brokerage tax reporting and IRS filing requirements
• Proven product management experience in fintech, brokerage, or financial infrastructure
• Hands-on experience managing third-party tax or financial technology vendors
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, coordinating across multiple departments
• Technical fluency with data systems and understanding of IRS schemas and file formats
