Tax Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading strategic tax transformation initiatives, the contract Remote IT & Tax Project Manager will manage end-to-end delivery of projects, communicate with stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional teams while working remotely after an initial onsite training week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of tax technology and transformation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and business objectives
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations and drive decisions
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables using tools such as Jira and Confluence

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on project management experience delivering complex technology or tax transformation initiatives
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels
• Demonstrated planning and execution discipline, with experience managing timelines, priorities, and resources
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration strongly preferred
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement practical solutions
