Tax Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with vendors to review and resolve discrepancies and inaccuracies in a timely manner
• Create and implement processes to monitor and remediate exceptions in cost basis accuracy
• Manage tax season preparation, including communication and timely delivery of tax forms

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business preferred
• 3+ years of experience in cost basis and tax reporting
• Experience with Maxit, Inteliclear, and SQL is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple objectives, assignments, and deadlines
• Series 99 or comparable FINRA licensing required or expectation to obtain soon after hire
