Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Support Specialist to manage tax agency interactions and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a defined set of federal, state, and local tax agencies, managing notice resolution and compliance
• Act as the direct point of contact with agencies, ensuring issues are resolved effectively
• Communicate updates to partners regarding their tax accounts and manage a queue of tax issues

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll tax, tax operations, compliance, or notice resolution
• Experience with federal, state, and local tax agencies and ability to navigate unfamiliar ones
• Organized and methodical, capable of managing multiple open issues simultaneously
• Ability to solve issues independently while escalating when necessary
• Curiosity for complex tax scenarios and a problem-solving mindset
