Job Summary

A company is looking for a Taxonomist to work remotely in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply existing taxonomy and metadata schema to tag help and support content accurately
• Propose refinements and additions to the taxonomy based on usage patterns and domain relevance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent tagging aligned with business and AI model needs

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working with taxonomies, metadata schemas, or controlled vocabularies
• 3+ years of experience with knowledge bases, content management systems, and tagging workflows
• Familiarity with taxonomy tools such as PoolParty, Airtable, Confluence, or WordPress
• Understanding of how taxonomy supports AI systems, including search and classification
• Experience in documenting taxonomy structures and use guidelines for stakeholders
