Job Summary

A company is looking for a Taxonomist / Metadata Specialist to standardize and govern metadata across HR content platforms and core HR management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing metadata structures to identify gaps and inconsistencies
Define and implement an enterprise-ready metadata and taxonomy strategy for HR and AI use cases
Establish metadata standards and governance processes to maintain integrity over time

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information science, library science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of professional experience in taxonomy, metadata, or related disciplines
Experience supporting AI-enabled or search-driven experiences using structured metadata
Hands-on experience implementing metadata standards within CMS and/or enterprise search platforms
Ability to work independently in a less mature or greenfield environment
