Job Summary

A company is looking for a Taxonomist to shape the organization and discoverability of information across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed data analysis to uncover metadata trends and identify taxonomy quality issues
• Perform comprehensive research to enrich and expand taxonomy node metadata
• Implement and maintain taxonomies in accordance with established governance guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in developing taxonomies, thesauri, or ontologies
• Demonstrated experience researching and defining taxonomy and ontology node metadata
• Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel or Google Sheets
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with a variety of topic and domain types
