Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (TDHH) in Glasgow, KY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Customize teaching materials and methods for students with hearing impairments
  • Deliver direct instruction focusing on language acquisition and academic subjects

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field
  • Possession of a valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Deaf Education
  • Preferably certified as a Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
  • Prior experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students in a school setting
