Teaching and Learning Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Teaching and Learning Specialist (Associate Director or Program Analyst, depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality teacher guides, student books, and supplementary materials for structured pedagogy programs
• Lead and assist in planning and delivering training sessions for teachers and trainers
• Provide ongoing monitoring and coaching to country teams on effective pedagogical approaches

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience for Associate Director level, or two years for Program Analyst level
• Thorough knowledge of foundational learning research and policy
• Hands-on experience leading the design of structured pedagogy materials for literacy or numeracy programs
• Familiarity with the Science of Reading and phonics-based approaches to literacy instruction
