Teaching Assistant (Counseling)
Job Summary
To support the success of students in the Counseling and Educational Studies program, the part-time Teaching Assistant (Counseling) will provide academic support, assist with grading, and facilitate online course communications.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in grading homework, quizzes, and exams for online courses
- Monitor online discussion boards and conduct communication with students during synchronous discussions
- Prepare course materials and outline a teaching module for future teaching assistants
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Additional education may substitute for required experience as permitted by the equivalency formula
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Education or related field
