Teaching Assistant for BA 240

Job Summary

To assist with summer online courses, the part-time hourly Teaching Assistant for BA 240 will help set up the course, respond to student inquiries, alert the instructor to important issues, and grade discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the course materials and structure for BA 240
• Field student questions and provide support throughout the course
• Assist in grading discussions and alert the instructor to any pressing matters

Required qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university
• Must have completed BA 240 or an equivalent course with a grade of B or better
• Undergraduate students must maintain a minimum enrollment of 6 credit hours per term
• Graduate students must be officially admitted and maintain a minimum enrollment of 5 credit hours per term
• Must successfully complete a Criminal History Check
