Teaching Assistant for BA 354

Job Summary

Assisting the instructor with various tasks to support student learning in BA 354, the part-time hourly Teaching Assistant will answer student inquiries, grade assignments, and provide administrative support, working up to 24 hours per week in Corvallis with flexible hours, including remote options.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from students regarding course material and assignments
• Grade student assignments and provide feedback
• Offer administrative support to the instructor and classroom activities

Required qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a high school, community college, or university program
• Must have completed BA 354 or BA 354H with a grade of A- or higher
• Strong writing and editing skills are required
• Must meet academic standing requirements and enrollment standards based on student status
• Must successfully complete a Criminal History Check
