Team Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a small DevOps engineering team, the full-time Team Lead DevOps Engineer will manage the operational health and reliability of Unite Services and Unite Integrations, focusing on Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and security initiatives in a primarily remote role with occasional office visits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a DevOps team, driving planning and execution for operational efficiency and security
• Oversee production deployments and manage multi-environment support for backend services
• Implement and maintain GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines while enhancing observability and incident management processes

Required qualifications

• Strong background in platform/DevOps engineering for complex distributed systems
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with cloud providers, preferably Azure
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation, particularly with GitHub Actions
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash
• Proven leadership experience in managing DevOps teams and projects using Agile methodologies
