Team Lead Follow Up

Job Summary

Assisting the Follow Up Managers, the full-time remote Team Lead, Follow Up will oversee the operations of the Follow Up team, focusing on improving efficiency and managing daily workflows while building strong relationships with team members.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor team performance, including timecards and productivity, while providing training and support to staff
• Manage workflow processes, ensuring timely follow-up on aging claims and addressing denial issues
• Collaborate with Follow Up Managers to implement process improvements and escalate high-level issues as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable follow-up
• Experience with Professional CMS 1500 Billing and various billing systems
• Knowledge of billing requirements for multiple states and both commercial and government payers
• Strong analytical skills and leadership abilities
