Job Summary

Coordinating daily operations within the Pre Access department, the full-time Team Lead Pre Access will manage workflows for pre-registration, insurance verification, and authorizations while providing mentorship and real-time support to staff, with an initial onsite requirement at the Mahoning Valley location for 30-60 days.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily workload distribution and manage work queue volumes for timely completion of pre-access tasks
  • Provide real-time guidance and mentorship to staff, ensuring adherence to workflows and best practices
  • Perform quality audits and identify trends in errors or workflow gaps, escalating issues to leadership as needed
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Patient Access or Pre-Access roles required
  • Proficiency in Epic or comparable EHR systems and MS Office applications required
  • Certification in healthcare access (e.g., CHAA or CMAA) preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
