Tech Lead

Job Summary

Driving the launch of a new business line, the full-time remote Tech Lead will own the technical vision, set the architecture, and guide early technical decisions while mentoring a small team of engineers.

Key responsibilities:

• Set the end-to-end architecture, including data storage and observability
• Drive build vs. buy decisions and establish the initial tech stack
• Prototype core services and mentor a team of engineers as the company scales

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience designing and shipping distributed systems at scale
• Fluency with a major cloud provider (e.g., GCP or AWS) and modern tech stacks (e.g., Ruby/Rails, Python, Rust, Golang, Java)
• Proven track record in architecting large-scale, multi-tenant applications
• Experience in hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering teams
• Hands-on experience building zero-to-one products in ambiguous environments
