Tech Lead - AI/ML

Job Summary

To support the Pharmacy AI/ML Center of Excellence, the hybrid contract-to-hire Tech Lead - AI/ML will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, lead solution design, and drive the implementation of AI-driven initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and operations teams to gather requirements and identify AI/ML-driven process improvement opportunities
• Lead solution design efforts and provide technical direction across AI Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists
• Drive end-to-end ownership of strategic AI and machine learning initiatives from planning through implementation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles
• Demonstrated success in gathering business requirements and leading complex project delivery efforts
• Strong hands-on technical background with experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science initiatives
• Healthcare industry experience required, preferably in Pharmacy, PBM, Payer, or Health Services
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
